Kids' Fun Day in Teamworks Birmingham

On Saturday 7th June 2025, we welcomed a group of bright-eyed adventurers aged 10 to 14 at our unforgettable Kids’ Fun Day. And what a day it was — full of laughter, movement, and new friendships!

But this day was more than just fun and games. It was a chance for children — many of whom are new to the UK — to connect, and to believe in themselves a little more. Through exciting challenges and shared moments, we watched them open up, cheer each other on, and shine with confidence.

We kicked things off with a team-based challenge — a favourite game from our Kryla Youth Club, shared here with our younger group for the very first time. The activity sparked creativity, built trust, and helped every child take the lead in their own way.

Then came 30 minutes of Laser Tag madness! For most of the children, it was their first time — and the energy in the room was electric. Laughter, excitement, strategy, and a healthy bit of competition filled the space.

💛 What We Saw
Children who arrived nervous left smiling from ear to ear.
Shyness faded as new friendships began to form.
And almost every child asked: “When can we do this again?”

Events like this create more than just memories — they build a sense of belonging. They help children grow emotionally, find their voice, and feel like they’re truly part of the community around them.

We’re especially grateful to Simon and the entire Teamworks Birmingham team for their warm welcome, support, and professionalism. You didn’t just offer a space — you helped us create magic.

And of course, we are incredibly proud of every child who joined us — for being smart, brave, kind, and full of heart.
